You could get a grant equal to 75% of eligible costs, to a maximum of $10,000, for activities that improve the accessibility of a commercially-operated building, including:

  • Replacing access doors
  • Installing an electric door opener, ramp or lifting platform
  • Leveling a floor, widening of door and fitting room, installing an elevator
  • Replacing a washroom

Once your eligibility has been confirmed, you must complete the work within 12 months.
