You can apply for a milk Class 3(d) registration number to access mozzarella cheese at a reduced price.
You may be eligible if:
- You own a restaurant in Canada that prepares and cooks pizza on site (not a cafeteria, institutional food service or catering operation)
- You are a distributor or restaurant franchisor that supplies mozzarella cheese to restaurants
Mozzarella made in Canada and in packages of least 2 kg included in Class 3(d):
- Mozzarella (scamorza)
- Part skim mozzarella (scamorza)
- Pizza mozzarella
- Part skim pizza mozzarella
