#SMEPME Twitter chat — IP in a digital world
In recognition of World Intellectual Property Day, the Canada Business Network is hosting a Twitter chat with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) on April 26, 2016, on intellectual property (IP) in a digital world. CIPO will be discussing why you should apply for IP protection/register your IP and how IP can be used to help you both online and off-line.
The Canada Business Network (CBN) provides Canadian entrepreneurs with the resources they need to grow and prosper, including a wide range of information on federal and provincial/territorial government services, programs and regulations. Twitter chats are a great tool for staying informed on industry topics, creating one-on-one relationships, and connecting with industry leaders and influencers.
CIPO is an agency of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, responsible for the administration and processing of intellectual property in Canada (trademarks, patents, copyright, and industrial designs).
