Canadian Business Excellence Awards for Small and Medium Enterprises — Invitation to Apply
This guest blog is provided by Excellence Canada, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping businesses and organizations (large and small) improve performance, and recognizing them with the Canada Awards for Excellence under the patronage of the Governor General of Canada.
Good news! If your business has less than 250 full-time employees and has annual revenues of less than $50 million, you are eligible to apply for National Awards Recognition from Excellence Canada.
Do your existing customers, employees, and suppliers already know that yours is an excellent company to work with? Share this incredible knowledge with others, through third-party validation and national awards recognition.
Small and medium-sized businesses are now eligible to be profiled as Excellent Businesses by Excellence Canada and receive credit toward the Canada Awards for Excellence Program, of which the Patron is the Governor General of Canada.
What's in it for you to apply?
- Cost to apply — nothing! Value — immeasurable!
- The application is done on-line and there are no audits or on-site visits.
- There is no maximum or minimum number of award recipients in any given year, so you are not competing with other businesses: your business is being evaluated purely against the awards criteria for recognition.
You will receive, at no-charge, high level feedback about your application from Excellence Canada, a non-profit organization that is the administrator of the Canada Awards for Excellence. You may be eligible to receive free coaching and mentoring on how you can take your organization to the next level by pursuing a Journey to Excellence.
If your award application is successful, you will have bragging rights and be able to state in your marketing and promotional messages that you received the prestigious Canadian Business Excellence Awards for Small and Medium Enterprises and are on your way towards the Canada Award for Excellence.
Award recipients will be invited to attend the Annual Performance Excellence Summit to be recognized and presented with an impressive framed certificate from Excellence Canada. This year, the 31st annual Canada Awards for Excellence Gala Luncheon will be held at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto on October 29th. There is a fee to attend this luncheon which is listed on the Excellence Canada website www.excellence.ca/summit
