If you are a newly-licensed lobster fisherman in Prince Edward Island, you could get up to $3,000 to lower interest costs on loans you made to start your business.

You must meet the following conditions:

  • Have a class 'A' lobster licence, obtained after January 2009
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be the licence holder for your fleet

You can also get mentoring and up to $1,000 for training. You need to contribute 50% of the cost of the training.
