This guest blog post is provided by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) who is responsible for regulating and supervising broadcasting and telecommunications in Canada.

The contract for the operation of the National Do Not Call List (National DNCL) is up for renewal and you're invited to contribute to this important initiative. The CRTC launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) to find the next operator of the National DNCL and ensure its ongoing operation beyond January 2018.

Review the RFP and consider taking part in this unique business opportunity. The operator of the National DNCL makes a difference in the telecommunications industry and in the daily lives of Canadians. All businesses are welcome to prepare and submit a proposal no later than May 25, 2017.

Please visit the RFP page for further information or if you have any questions on the RFP process. Information on the National DNCL can be found at www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca.

The National DNCL helps protect Canadians from unwanted telemarketing calls since 2008. More than 13.1 million phone numbers have been registered with the National DNCL since its inception, and this number grows each year.
